Redstart was retained to undertake phased remediation and enabling works and prepare a completion report for a residential development comprising 37No. low rise residential dwellings with associated driveways and garden areas, estate roads and infrastructure on a 0.97Ha former quarry site, New Mills, Derbyshire.
Overview
The site historically comprised a quarry which had been backfilled. Redstart completed a programme of site enabling, remediation and engineering works. These works were planned to sort and process site won (and suitable imported) materials in order to create the required development platform and render the site suitable for the proposed development. The works were undertaken in accordance with the regulator approved Remediation and Enabling Works Strategy.
