Redstart undertook remediation and enabling works for Residential development
Redstart was retained by Bellway Homes to undertake remediation and enabling works and prepare a completion report for a residential development comprising 142No. low rise residential dwellings with associated driveways and garden areas, estate roads and infrastructure on a 4.66Ha site off Monfa Road, Bootle, Liverpool
Overview
The site historically comprised terraced housing with associated Roads. Demolition of the above ground structures took place in 2015 with demolition materials removed from site. All footings, sub-surface structures and roads remained. Redstart prepared a QP declared CL:AIRE Materials Management Plan in order to manage clean soils and contamination and completed a programme of site enabling, remediation and engineering works in accordance with the Earthworks Remediation Strategy, Bellway Construction and Design Specifications and Specification for Highway Works Series 600 Volume 1.
